Viet Nam Culture Week opens in Laos
Viet Nam Culture Week in Laos was opened in Vientiane on August 31 with a photo exhibition entitled, “Viet Nam Beauty”. On display at the exhibition are 50 photos and many handicraft products depicting Viet Nam’s people, culture and beauty spots.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai Province opened an exhibition entitled “Quang Ngai – Sea and Island Cultural Heritage” on August 29 to mark the August Revolution and the National Day (September 2).
The Vietnamese Cuisine Month was launched at Habour Plaza Metropolis Hotel, Hong Kong on August 29. The event is aimed at offering Hong Kong people a chance to enjoy Vietnamese traditional dishes such as pho (noodle soup), sea-crab spring rolls, and Southern spring rolls.
